Just got my butt spanked by a caliber srt4 with intake and tune he said. I have XP cam, headers, 3.2, tune, ported blower. In 2nd at 45, we were even for a second then he got shy of a cars length ahead of me by 85. Damnit

That doesnt sound right.... Those things are only like 14 sec 1/4 stock. With your mods you should be low 13s, possibly 12s. Have you ran the 1/4 mile? Not to mention starting in second without shifting by 85, shouldnt of really been a problem. Whats your timing/afr/boost hitting?

Ran 13.8 in the quarter mile last Oct right after tuning, which felt great at the time lol.

Not the best run but could have plenty to do with your trans or driver mod. Im guessing the srt had more than intake and tune.

Stock gtp will run a very high 14s if driver is decent.

Those things really wake up with a tune, dyno day had one making over 300WHP every pull with just a tune and catback if I remember right.

    Probably weigh less too.

Edmunds and C&D both dyno tested them and put down 280~ WHP bone stock.

So Dodge underrated them quite a bit from the factory; saying 285hp/265tq.

That's what I've read nick. They were slightly under rated from the factory specs, and edmunds said it weighed about 3050 or so lbs. Plus with the speed we rolled from and him having more gears.... I kept trying to get him to go from around 30 or so, or catch a light, but he kept randomly gunning it ahead to tease. Either way I gave him props, his car ran good. I just expected more lol.

I am however, going to try and get a WB and head back up to mr josh come summer time to get a re-tune. Hopefully get it dialed in before the trans commits suicide.
