Not sure the weight on the Hellcats, the 'Goat is just under 3800. I'm 220, so there ya go. The GTO has zero room, yet looks larger than it is. It's not much roomier than a 4th gen F car.

Buddy here at work has a HellCat on order; he sold his modified Z06 to get it. Should be interesting when it arrives.

The Hellcat is cool, no doubt, but for $80K.... count me out. Especially when apparently a 30K car with spray is laying the smackdown on it.

True, don't you guys know where the adjective "dodgy" came from?

Msrp starts around 60k, not 80k. Significant difference.

I saw the other day where a stock Hellcat put down 660 rwhp on the dyno. Would that not be quite a bit more the claimed 707 HP? Too bad they're as heavy as a 2wd 1/2 ton truck. I like them none the less. And I figure a few mods will really wake them up if they're anything like most S/C V8's. Like the new Z06 for example. They pick up 80-100 rwhp with just a tune, S/C pulley and full exhaust.
2000 GTP coupe. Wizaired intake. 3.4 pulley, Overkill tune, and Speed Daddy's waiting to be put on.

when a car co states HP and TQ, its at the crank. its common to see a 75 hp loss from crank to wheels.

Right, but re-read what he said. Add that 75 horsepower back and it's more than 707 crank like Chrysler says.

707 is just a rough number, I don't doubt it more like 720-740 on some cars.
