He is my buddy. He was surprised he didn't see me in his rear mirror.

Like stated before, his trans is slipping and he is not dyno tuned yet.

still no respect for a the new 5.0s....

i dont get it. seems the vct in those engine has huge potential check out the aem article on enginelabs.com
engine picked up like 100 hp with vct tuning vs cams locked at zero no advance no retard. thats huge but i dont think enough specs were in the article because i dont think that engine had stock cams.

ill find the article when im not on my phone...

They had a wicked exhaust manifold and cobra jet manifold. Thats where most of that power came from. No doubt tuning the vct is legit. Just not that big in the real world every day driver.

My 7800 redline keeps me in the races. I'm pulling power all the way from 6k thru 8k other cars have to shift while I'm still molly whoopin power. I just need more of it to throw down a good whoopin.

Its how I beat that 09 GT500 he had to shift and it secured my win. 3.73 gears with a 7800 redline

I think what he means, is there are a good few people who remote tune the coyote platform. I have a tune from Advanced Engine Development (AED) but all the big name guys require datalogs on the street.

My tuner wouldn't even accept my money until I gave him a baseline datalog. I had to work out some fueling and spark issues before he would begin tuning and revisions.

These tunes are not like the canned tunes we are used to on the wbody platform.

apparently its impossible to get a good mustang tune........
never mind the companies that do it live via remote and bluetooth now.....
this isnt 1970 tuning tech has came a hell of a long ways. live tuning i dont see how there would be a problem when its not a "can" tune.

mustang aftermarket is gigantic. but again its impossible to tune a mustang apparently, try tell that to bama performance or a few others that offer lifetime tunes........
