I'm was surprised I pulled him and so was he. I told him we would have a rematch when he puts in the new trans. I told him I'm gonna put in a 3" h-pipe and cat deletes for 35whp to give me a chance of hangin with him. Would put me around 445whp

Looks like a good race. He needs to fix the trans and get a tune. That exhaust tells me his tune is way off regardless of the trans issues.

way to go smart guy i in no way said line lock has anything to do with a 50 roll.....

however yes id take a 4l80 and a line lock over a T56.

guess i need to spell things out. apparently i forgot my crayon today.

With a solid trans/gear/stall, you're gonna need more than 35 horse, lol.

My opinion...it was a good race for an improperly set up 4th gen. He's dumping fuel like crazy and making no power with it. When I get on my 355, all I get is growl. Your Boss is hanging in there though so kudos for that. But once he's dyno tuned with a decent trans, you likely won't fare as well unless you get more under your hood too. May I suggest Whipple powerz?

I said nothing about getting rid of it...perhaps just storing it in a closet for awhile...
