I agree with leadfoot but I look at it in a different contexts: for what our cars are they aren't bad and with the mods fairly cheap we can go neck and neck maybe even beat cars that are considered sports cars or faster cars than ours I know I have a grocery getter/sleeper/grandpa car but for what it is, the amount of money I paid, I can put 2k or maybe even less I can go against and even beat a car that's considered a car that's "fast" to other car enthusiasts I mean looking at some of these youtube vids is what made me want a l67 I love the rwd v8 and prefer that but I rather have a more gratifying feeling of beating a car that's is supposed to beat me and make the driver feel like "how did he win? I know my car is faster" face lol I'm not a guy that feels my car can't get beating but for what it is compared to a lot of platforms, its. A pretty damn good car to work with just my 2 cents

Ah. Totally understandable. I'd doof like that too. One time I was racing a friend's Integra, and I had the gearstick in 1 to get the jump from the roll. Of course when I punched and was gonna move the stick to second, I totally freaked out and put it in neutral. Fail.

ANY LS1 F-body V8 is a whole different animal and all around better to begin with hands down. A w-body is laughable at best.

Amount of money you paid? Obviously you haven't priced a LS1 lately. You do realize that 99.9% of owners aren't going to feel like "how did he win" right? Why? Because most understand that any car can be made fast and the other .1% could careless if they win or lose. At the end of the day your car(or any w-body) might be faster, but his car will pull more chicks, get more looks, get more thumbs up, be more accepted in the car community, and is an all around better platform to start with as opposed to a w-body.

whoa whoa, i feel like you have became increasingly hostile towards GPs (wbodys) lately. Anyways, i get tons of looks in my car, i roll up to a gas station and literally everyone turns their heads to find that car that sound like a fukin cammed v8.

i dont know if you read the post, but i was at a light and firefighters were doing their charity and taking change, couple of them walked by my car and said "damn, that thing sounds fast"

i dont know whats up with your car, but i get plenty of looks.

I would hope so its a v8 rwd considered sports car.. and w-body Laughable? Lol ok

Yes I've priced a ls1 in my area personallyI wouldn't pay any more than 4 k for a camaro or trans am and most of them are running for 6k and maybe even up to 15 or 20k with some owners "feeling" like their car is worth that amount because the s!@tload of parts they put in it when to other people that means nothing..lol.. honestly I could give 2 s!@ts about somebody that notices my car I'm not buying it for attention my car gets the job done and does even more for so much less which is win win in my book

You should learn your definitions. A RWD V8 is not necessarily a sports car. A sports car is a lightweight 2 door 2 SEATER designed to handle well. A Miata is a sports car, a F Body is not.
