    Everyone's mentioning the weight of the wheels hurting the trans, but what about the messed up geometry of the drivetrain components due to the ride height of 24" wheels? I'd be even more concerned about the damage that would cause.

    The "geometry" of the drivetrain doesn't change simply with bigger wheels. Lowering or lifting vehicles will.
