Made it to the track on Saturday for a club bracket race.

    Best run of the night:
    60' - 2.25
    1/8 - 9.78
    1/4 - 15.18 at 92.72 MPH

Want to start tuning it but the search function on here sucks and I can't find any info on a 05 pcm swap

Well the 60' sucks, but I am sure you know that. Also it seemed to have fallen on its face in the top end. Did you leave O/D on by chance?

Also, love the avatar. Howard the Duck, YEAH!

    Swap info is as follows:

Buy 05 PCM, install PCM, security learn = done.

    Gas gauge will read backwards.

I was running DR's too. I think it all has to do with the torque management messing with everything.

I'm not a fan of can tunes, to many variables when it comes to tuning for optimum performance. Plus if I change something having to contact them, have them redo the tune blah blah blah too much time and hassle.

Has anyone tried to fix the gas gauge issue with the 05 swap? My girlfriend drives the car as well and she'll forget that it reads backward and run it out of gas. lol

Its stock, with the prefect track prep and a cool night with super duper driver mod, seeing 14's is good.

The torque managment doesnt really affect it as much as you think. Some people think removing it all is such a great idea........

    But then: canned tune.

    Not cool.

    Not optimal.

STILL WORKS, just not always the best option.

Will figured it out...now he just needs to whore it out to people who tune

    INFORMATION
    Subject:
Fuel Gauge Reads Backwards After Changing Fuel Level Sensor/Sender CardModels:
2007 Buick Allure (Canada Only), LaCrosse
    2007 Chevrolet Impala, Monte Carlo
2007 Pontiac Grand PrixTechnicians should be advised that after the fuel level sensor (sender card) is replaced, the fuel gauge may read backwards. This condition may occur due to improper installation of a 2006 or prior fuel sender card into a 2007 model year vehicle.
The resistance of the fuel level sensor for the 2007 MY is 40 ohms when the fuel tank is full and 250 ohms when the fuel tank is empty. On the 2006 MY and prior vehicles, the resistance of the fuel level sensor is 250 ohms when the fuel tank is full and 40 ohms when empty. For this reason, when replacing a fuel level sensor, the 2007 MY part number must be used for the 2007 vehicles and the 2006 MY parts must be used on the 2006 vehicles. The fuel level sensor is NOT interchangeable between model years.
