I set up the Aeroforce to light up with anything higher than 0.10 and I was getting knock with the 3gph nozzle, I saw .90kr at wot and anywhere between 0.2-2.0 the first second of having the gas mashed. I put the 7gph nozzle on and no knock at WOT not and the AFR is still nice 10.3-11.3 but I still get the initial KR which I only think is caused by the 1 second the meth is not getting to the engine.

    and 91parkave
I dont believe that was done, Ill ask but I doubt it, I have been reading more and more about tuning with HPTuners so maybe by next spring I will be comfortable enough to play with it on my own..

The numbers were good for what I was paying for it, I could have gone with an XP cam but, why be like everyone else? If I did another cam turbo or blower it would be a custom grind..

I'm not saying "be like everyone else"...but there is a reason most people don't buy the S2X because the numbers haven't ever been that impressive.

    How about..."different isn't always better?"

I'm not saying you made a bad choice...just...could have been better routes to take.

Regardless, when you go to upgrade...how about just tossing rockers on it to make your life easier?

I don't know what your issue is with the intense blower cams but check the numbers.. the XP and this cam are damn near the same. If someone had low numbers and moved to the xp cam and saw bigger numbers, 100% its probably who ever tuned it.

    XP

    • 212°/224° at .050"
    • Intake Lift .325" (.520" lift at 1.6:1 rocker ratio)
    • Exhaust Lift .335" (.536" lift at 1.6:1 rocker ratio)
    • 116 Lobe Separation

      S2X
duration @ .050": 214/222, lobe lifts: .332"/.338", valve lifts with 1.60:1 rocker arms: .531"/.541", lobe separation angle: 115, intake centerline: 111

P.S 8k miles in and still no oil burn at all.

Cams are pretty similar. Acids view that tuning would make the difference could be right.
Looks like a difference of opinion, opinion = a belief or judgment that rests on grounds insufficient to produce complete certainty.

Truly the only advantage is the XP cam would give just a little bit more power through the entire power band than the s2x which really doesn't pick up until the end of it which I have experienced real world.. That car loves to go over 100mph

lol, I have no issue with IS based cams broham.

Just from what I've PERSONALLY seen, they haven't been a popular choice.

If it works for you then more power to ya.

Not trying to get you all bent out of shape there killer.
