I don't care how fast the drag cars that get hauled to the track are, because they cant drive it home.
In my case when I was FWD, it ran 12.9 with winter tires on a crappy track.
On the street I'm faster by at least 2 tenths, I can launch harder with more throttle. I run it the same on the street and drag I only remove the passenger seat which makes a negligeable difference.
But I don't street race much, not worth losing my permit. If I do it will have to be a great occasion (once I have the twin engine ready vs a Viper or other exotic)

I drove my car all the time everywhere.
I know plenty of people that drive around on DR's/skinnies.
Actually how one local got the nickname Skinnies...year round.
12's are 12's.
Who cares what it does on the street.
Street racing is for kids :)
Re: New car first time going to the track
So if he drives around on DRs and skinnys and then takes it to the track exactly like that then it runs 12s, thats his street trim, so it runs 12s all the time.
