Had a track rental this past Friday at Atco.

Well I have the good, the bad and the horrible. Lol.

The good is the car ran great. Took off like a rocket and was getting my tune and launch better as the day went by. Hard to tune with the heat. The MSD fuel pump voltage booster helped. Got a new PB.

The bad, even though I got a new PB of 11.06 it wasn't 10's. LOL. It was way too hot out. Never will I race at this temp. Plus I was power braking too much spinning off the line. I was shocking the slicks instead of loading them. Didn't get good 60'.

The horrible is after the 11.06 the next run, car took off great, then I lost all gears right after launch. That would have been the 10 sec run. Pissed about that. I thought it might have been a popped out axle, but I think its trans related. Might be TC. Been having issues with it for a while before the track rental. To top the night off, while backing out if enclosed trailer, my pass mirror got caught on the steel cable and ripped it off. I'm more pissed about that then everything else.

    Best run of the day was 11.06 @ 124.16 MPH 1.73 60'

Here is a vid. With the cutout open the turbo screams so much louder.

Nice to see you are still at it Sal. Although not 10's, still a good pass. Did look like the car got out of the groove on that pass though.

Yes with me in it. The only thing I do is take out passenger seat and clean trunk out.

Thanks. I did notice the car came out of the groove. The torque steer is crazy with my car.

Torque steer... in a turbo Grand Prix... never!

Good run man, but ****ty about the mirror. I think I would feel the same way about the mirror, and not the transmission.

I'm happy with my new PB. Still one of the fastest GP's. Plus its unique and fun to drive. It's just so hard to tune when its hot and gets hotter as the day goes on. 10's will happen.

I'll definitely post in the trans section when I find out the reason which most likely is the TC since I've been having issues with it for a while now.

It is. It pins you back in the seat and slightly takes your breath away. I love it.

    It's a 245 3K stall
