At school today my buddy brought his dad's 03' srt/10 since his dad is on vacation lol! Anyway I had my gxp with a tuned PCM, and a slight exhaust upgrade my friend did for me at his autoshop anyway we got out on the road and began from a rolling start. I held good for about 2 seconds but then he easily got about 3 lengths on me, I thought I would keep up a little longer oh well=(

Pfft, get more mods then run him again in the future.

It's worth it in the long run to see the face of the driver in the Viper when he gets his ass handed to him by a Grand Prix.

I don't think a GP will ever be faster then a Viper, the Vipers are built for speed, GP's aren't
I had one go WOT at the same time I did on a highway and it left me in the dust in no time

Well probably...first off its got a damned V10 and over 500HP...

BUT...they are basically track cars and only trap mid 12's IIRC, but on the street putting down 500+ Ft. Lbs. of torque to street tires is no easy task in any car really. I'd like to run one though. I ran toe to toe against a '93 Viper awhile back...but after about 90 he left me, so I'd say it would been about a couple cars in the 1/4.

I was happy though, I couldnt gripe

well with the amount of cash you put into a grand prix your better off buying a viper, think about it when you see a gp on the road its just a common car,a viper on the other hand turns everybodys head and tells everyone to get the f off the road

Yeah but your missing the point in a parkin lot or at a stop light what is every1 gonna respect and turn everybodys head. I mean with a viper the ladies think that guy has potiental with a grand prix especially 97-03 they just figure that guy can't afford to buy a new car, be realistic your not racing 24/7
