Two kids pull up to me blasting Journey. "Nice BonnIEville!"

How bad of shape must a Regal GS be for me to get a length on it by 45? I heard his supercharger...

Next light: "Damn, your car sounds amazing! How did you make it so fast?"

    Me: *sigh* "It's turbo!" LOL

    Crazy kids.

The kids driving looked like he was 12. Probably just got his license or something. But yeah, it didn't sound too healthy either. Maybe they were running 87 like newbs.

It was most definitely a GS. I saw the supercharged badge on the back.

It's gotta be pretty bad for NA to pull charged like that. I'd think 87 octane is their friend.

Don't the blown cars have a stick on the gas door that says 91 or better only? I always see so many people filling up GTPs and related cars with 87. I wanna walk up to them and be like dude... Read the gas door. But I'll probably get looked at weird.

In the manual, likely on the cluster, and on the gas tank door.

Do you get the feeling people don't read?

My neighbor kid told me her washers weren't working, I checked they worked great. "Lemme know if they stop working". Get a call from her Grandmother a week later saying how she needs them to work with the upcoming snow (wintertime). I'm on it. She comes over again and I check it all over while having her actuate them. Nothing at the pump. I check fuses etc. Last resort I try the switch. "THAT'S NOT HOW TO DO IT!" She then tells me that you pull the mist function back and that mists the window. Odd, I always used the washer function that is down the stalk another inch, it's a push forward. Needless to say she is adamant, I suggest we look at the manual. She proceeded to tell me how she didn't need to read to know how to drive her car.

I left out the part where she went further and I told her to find somwone else to fix her car for free. We did talk it over a little later and she realized you don't treat people helping you that way. Overall a good kid though.

Funny side story, I've been suggesting small stuff etc for two years. Never wants to do things because they aren't a safetey issue. She now wants a new car and took it to a mechanic to see how much to fix up the stuff that would help her get more money at the dealer. Mechanic said, don't bother it needs exhaust gasket, AC compressor, power steering leak etc etc. She mentioned this to me, I said, yes and I suggested struts, X and Y and Z as well a couple years back as well. Pretty sure that soon she'll be driving a Scion and I dunno nothing about them.

I thought it would be expensive to put in 91 Octane gas instead of the 87, but if calc it the guys are just paying 3-4$ more every full tank. I rather pay the extra few bucks so i get all the performance out of my car, than to pay less and have the engine go BOOM.
