Ran into my bud jose the other day he has a 04 mustang v6 he kept calling my prix a granny car so after after that I asked him did he want to race so we did he has a flowmaster nock off muffler and that's it mine is a 02 gt with intake u bend and resonater delete 2.5 inch dp and dual glass packs we go from a 50 roll I let him get the jump then I end up pulling 2 plus lengths on him lol but he was a good sport about, then last night ran into a friend of mine with a z24 cavalier I know. He has a i/h/e and he's a manual we did a 60 roll I let him get the jump but to my suprise we were dead even all the way to 109 (speed limiter) so I think he has a little more done to the cavi then he says, what do you guys think?

No cavalier came with a 2.4.

    2.2 only.

yea I agree I've raced a sunfire gt with the 2.4 twin cam before when I had just an intake I. Killed him, well I guess I will just have to find out exactly what he has in it, and me thinks its time for hv3 and a tune

Truthfully, a good running 2.4 5 speed should blister your ass.

There a few things I would never own up to. Owning a sunflower, and admitting that a stock sunflower would walk or keep up with me are amoung these things.

a buddy of mine had a 96 Sunfire GT when we were in High School and that little car was pretty quick. I thought it was fast till my other buddy got a 2000 GTP.... Then the sunfire didnt seem so fast anymore...

The cars mentioned in this thread almost make me think my Buick Rendezvous is a race car.
