Im at the gas station today on a 4 lane highway,as im pulling out i see a GPGTX comin down the road...appeared to b anyways. It had the GTX spoiler and a funky lookin badge.Anyways traffic is kinda congested so were both givin each other grins back and forth...we finally get up ahead in traffic and come to a red light with both of us in front. Were both smilin from ear to ear...light turns green he punches and starts to get a gain on me because my trac control is messed up and doesnt workso i didnt wanna sit there burnin tires, after i get into mid first gear i hit it and immedeiately start pulling on him till we hit about 90 i was about a half car length on him when he let off...threw up peace signs to each other and parted ways. Its always fun racing one of ur own kind.

    The End

edit: GTX was what i meant to post not a GXP

Yeah, cause if you win makes you feel good with the work you have done and if you lose, makes you want to go do more. Good run though man.

I didn't really notice anything much, It has this annoying sound, it sounds like crickets or something, you can start to hear it at 2500 rpm and then it gets louder. Idk what it is, if it's a exhust leak or the header gasket. I know slp headers are known for this to happen but that was with the older headers cause when they coated the headers they coated the cross over pipe too. But i didnt think it was worth 1,000 bucks i should of got a full size ic but i didnt cause i plan on going far down the road with it.

The LS4's have a pretty nice exhaust note, a good set of flowmaster or Borla mufflers would sound awesome on the GXP's.

Good run, better if you won!
I did notice a difference in performance with the headers.
A lot more torque and better muffler sound.
Short sound vid with the xp installed.

There was no GXP for 97-03. Could it have been a GTX maybe?
    This one has a V8.
Why not just make a V6 faster?

I am actually running on stock x-haust.
I have 3"dp with 3" pipe all the way to the Y, then its 2.5".
I cost me $180 for the x-haust work done.
I used to have borla, but it took the off (Noisy).
