Ever since I got my car its as if It says "Race Me Please" all over it. Over the past week I have had mustangs, eclipses, other sports cars around me try to show that they are better than me. Well in most cases I just let them go since I am trying to be good to my car till I figure out more about it. But I do have 1 kill story that I could not let pass.

There is a Street Light a little ways from where I live which was setup very stupid. The right lane ends just after the light and I always see people trying to get around the left hand lane when they think they have a car that can do it. Low and behold its 5 oclock traffic and there must have been 15 cars behind me and no one in the right lane. Well a Regal GS pulls up beside me. I looked over at him and just shook my head. Dropped the TC and just waited.

Green light and we both nail it. He spent more time spinning than anything and lost this one. Lookin to be about 18 he probably had no idea how to drive it. I'm not saying im an expert either. Well he was obviously pretty pissed off that he lost and decided to ride my ass all the way down the 4 mile stretch of road. Eventualy I hit the highway and we was still following me. So enoph is enoph and I floored it all the way up to about 130 or so when the motor began to drop out but it was clear he could not keep up with me. But then after I hit top speed I dropped out and let him pass which he though made him winner or somthing by his reactions.

But anyways I am sure it would have been near equal if he knew how to drive his car. Im not sure about weight differences but the GP looks a little heavier despite the extra 20 HP. I could be wrong, im still learning.

No no no no no no... This kind of infighting between GM owners should not be encouraged... It always pains me to see Buick and Pontiac fighting each other... We need to set aside any sibling rivalry and focus on the real enemy... Ford

The spedo was about to hit 130 when it lost power. Thats when I backed off and he went by. Im not sure how far back he was behind me but when I came back down to 70 he flew by me.

I am pretty sure it will cut around 125 for the 04. I have the Comp-G not sure if that would help.

i havent been able to get my comg g to hit speed limiter yet. ive hit almost 140.

now it does feel like it hits a limiter when it shifts out of 3rd (125) it falls on its face HARD! but after a second or two it will resume picking up speed, at a very SLOW rate.
white 04 comg G gtp. wizair, pacesetters, slp 1.8 rr
    its slow.

My GPSE with the 3800 shuts down at 112 and then doesn't pick back up until it's somewhere under 80.
