    In my previous videos i posted of me and a friend racing, he had an 00' N/A GP, he sold that and bought a 98' GTP that has a fully rebuilt engine and tranny, Ported outlet, SSAC headers, Intake, Bored .020, Stock pulley size, ZZP Canned tune, and SD Hood. We decided to race for the hell of it vs. my stock GTP w/ intake.

    I feel as if the cars are still pretty equal in speed, its just all about the driver at this point. Once he Moves to a 3.4 and a dyno tune, then thats a whole new story i bet.

    So whats your method of going from a dig? Pretty impressive how you out drove a slightly modded gtp when you're stock, goes to show how the driver plays important role. Nice vids man, good job.

    thanks man. I was impressed i won the second race for sure. My method from going from a dig, Stomp on the pedal, usually. But this time i tried to ease into it, and i eased into it to slow.

    On my friends phone its real good quality. Then he texted me the videos and the quality went to Sh!t (we have the same phone, Droid Razr). So i dont think youtube would help unless he posted from his phone.

    not sure it might help a little i uploaded a vid with my 52 ford on photobucket and it sucked then went to youtube and it was way nicer

    I suck at racing from a dig, i cannot get a good start, ever. Which is why i said i was Brutal at it. Brutal = Bad.

    With that being said, I suck from a dig, i lost that race from a dig..

    when you send a video through MMS it compresses it and the quality goes to ****.... your friend would have to upload them from his phone for better quality

    Why is it hard to get out of the hole?

    Put car in 2.

    Put foot on brake and gas, with TCS off.

    Hold revs at like 2k, let go at like half throttle and keep giving it more hell as you feel the tires break loose then jam the gas around 20-30...it's stock...it should hook by then. Once you're done spinning, shift it to drive....or hold it in 2 so you can run out the revs longer in 2nd.

    Do you have your email linked to your phone? What I do is email myself the video. Then get the computer, save it to that. And then upload the video to youtube. Keeps the original quality.

    Sounds tough, I've heard from a certain former member here that launching a GTP takes REAL skill. Apparently, it's super duper hard to do....such a torque monster.

    That looks about the same as the race i had with a stock GTP...sadly. (when i was on the stock pulley)
