I believe you on that truck but i dont people will believe me that my bro ran a say 05ish Dodge ram 1500 and stayed even with him until about 70 and we started pulling but then let off because of the light ahead. It had a Hemi badge on it so ya, those older hemis are not that fast compared to the new ones which are as fast as the newer tundras. Btw we got a base 07 GP and also nice kill bro

Don't go around believing a new Tundra is fast. If I can talk my neighbor to taking his to the track, I'll show you.
I may say rude things but learn to take a joke. The internet is funny when you can laugh.

Ill rephrase, fast as in its fast for a gas powered truck. Reason i say gas is cuz of the turbo diesels that are pretty quick, but im not convinced that either of these trucks are very fast stock unless they are pretty badly modded.

The 03+ Cummins can make 450-480 rwhp pretty easy with a lift pump, Smarty tuner, mp8 pressure box, and cai. That's about $800-1200 in mods. Pretty cheap 450 HP if u ask me

ya a buddy of mine was telling me something similar to what you said and it is a pretty good and those diesels do haul ass. But thats if you want a truck i like cars more so i would not want one but would like to try one out for a test drive. Also what would you think be better cheap and fast the Diesel or the GTP or some other car vs a truck?

Depends if your talking mod costs or overall costs. When I look at performance I take vehicle cost+Modding cost=quarter mile time to come up with the best bang for buck.
example. Buddy has a 04 dmax. Paid $13k for the truck. $4500 for a built tranny, $400 for a tuner, $500 for a fuel system, $350 for high flow manifolds, $250 for cai, $150 for exhaust. Truck runs a 12.6 with a crappy 1.7x 60 ft time @106 mph. Worth it? 515 rwhp daily driver full size truck that gets 20+ mph highway.

Good point, but can you take it to a track and go fast around corners?

Nothing I drive takes corners fast. But yeah u can lower a truck and put good suspension parts on it to make it handle good but that's a whole different money pit.
