-vs the mustang, me and my friend were just messin around on the highway cause i always mess with him on how slow his car is (cause the 94-98 stangs sucked donkey dick) so we decided to race from a dead stop, immediately took him off the line and won by 3-4 car lengths, all fun races, we did a couple all of which was same result, although when we race from like 80-110 he starts creeping then eventually passes me cause my car shuts off at 110 his 115

-vs the v6 solara, there actually a tad bit faster then i thought but yea we raced from a dead stop again, took him off the line by a bit then inched my way passed him more and more beating him by about 2 lengths, race 2 we raced from a 55-60 roll and we both gunned it and once again i took the lead and beat him by a car length or 2 but still, raced till about 95, if we continued he would of passed me eventually cause again my car shuts off at 110 and his prolly like 135 or more since its a toyota, all fun and good races

V6 stangs are slow out of the hole. Mine never ran until 45 or so when it got into the good stage of timing then it was ok nothing great. Then I was also running the stock 2.55 gears. Could do like 70 in first or something stupid.

yea i remember a year ago i ran this dude 2 different times who also had a 96 v6 stang, he had intake, 5 spd, and flowmaster exhaust, i had intake, hv3, and 3in downpipe- custom exhaust and i stomped him just as bad maybe by 5 cars from a dig to 90ish mph. They slowwzzz. Great kills.

Why are you racing to 115? if youre ahead by at least 2 cars at 90 then stop.

My bro raced a older Stang GT, it was supposed to be faster than our 07 Base but when we looked at it, one of the mufflers was broken off and it looked lake crap. But it did beat use just by a car length until he braked very hard when he almost slacked right into this car in front of him. He did get the jump on us and my bro did not put in full throttle cause of the lane ended up front. The Stang looked like crap and it was a V8 but very poorly taken car off. A couple of mods or a tune on our car and we would have beat em, a GTP stock would of wiped his butt all over the road. Either way i thought it was a V6 that was modded a lot but really it was a V8 because of how it looked compared to V6s. BTW Nice kills

Wow only 220, i was think it was along the line of 270. Either way this stang only started pulling on us whenever it went up to high RPMs.

Nah youre thinking of the 99-04's that had 260hp. A grand prix gt with Intake, headers, and HV3 would match a 96 stang gt hp wise and probably hang with it. I nearly beat a GT not too long ago at the 1/8th strip, he had only intake and exhaust and if it wasnt for my bad launch i woulda had him no doubt.

Every Solara I've seen down here has a couple of Golf Community-dwelling geratrics in it with the top down and windows up. Congrats for rollin' out on The U.S.S. Metamucil.
