Took a trip to dtm. 5 hour drive and arrived at 9:30 am. long story short, got on the rollers and found out my fuel pump was dying. Brian, being the awesome person he is, cleared his day out for me to get the car running right. He ran me to the parts store, took me to intense racing to buy a pump. Introduced me to the owner John Rucker, and the guys helped me swap the pump into the basket & gave me some free intense stuff to wear. Then Brian bought me lunch at subway too! 100% stand-up good guy & this is the reason I travel to him to tune.

We got on the rollers and tuned it in on a 3.0 inch pulley. I only made 338 to 343 in horses thru the pulls. Initially, I was pissed, (bc ive added a gen v, roller rockers and ported heads since) & only gained about 8 peak horses. but after comparing my lasy dyno to this one, i noticed a huge difference. I averaged around 20whp more through the first 60% of the powerband. And at some points of the lower-mid range, i made almost 30 more whp!! also torque was at least 20 pounds higher everywhere in the graph.

I started to see valve float at 6000 rpm, so the shiftpoints weren't raised & i didn't run a lot of boost. I plan to get a set of 130# springs and run more boost next time. Hopefully, that will help put my peak horses where they should be.

    Sounds good.

Car looks like it is maxing out that baby cam with hogged out heads.

Needs a bigger bumpstick and a smaller pulley.

Odd...with a larger build Snowflake was only able to pull 322whp out of the car.

Doesn't surprise me how the guys took care of you. That's the same level of customer service I've recieved and hence why I have nothing but good stuff to say about them all. I wear an Intense polo at most meets etc.

Odd... I pulled 356whp out of a car with a lot less in mods.
OP is running E85, solid numbers.

I feel bad for 4sixer, he was was grossly mislead about how much power his engine should make.

Nice numbers orange! Gotta love the e85.
Bill i was there sunday with 4sixer and i saw how much time 'flake put into that car. It did NOT want to make power like he expected. Kr kr kr. The 356 std was my final number, up from 343 on 93 oct not to mention similar gains of 20-30 whp along the powerband, like the OP's

Not to mention it was spiking to 15-16psi on the 2.8 pulley. I bet it doesn't even have IS3 heads on it.

    ^^ Agreed

Nick look under the valve cover and do the math s1x +

PRJ did the heads, I had a machine shop check it all. The check the stock 2.25" catback for restriction.. yup, got plenty of restriction there.

Meanwhile..wanna chat about nearly blowing your engine up on the dyno over a temp sensor harness? 16* KR at 5000rpm... Heard you screamed pretty loudly.

Sorry for the crap in your thread OP, pm me if you'd like it all cleaned.

You'll never be as cool as Snowfake, but nice job, nonetheless. I enjoyed vid.

It must be nice to be able to just throw crap around and not have any consequences eh? If you knew anything about how the PCM works, if the temp sensor disconnects, the car dumps fuel... there was actually 0* of KR, what worried me for a split second was that it attempted to run 30* of timing. There was no screaming involved either.

BTW, the car in question put down over 50whp more than your godly engine that baselined 289whp (and did so on stock heads without an intercooler) and was running more boost on a 2.8 pulley than Dan's was on a 2.6 pulley... and he doesn't have the rollers or IS3 heads.

Both cars put down more power across the board, I can only suspect that the engine in question either wasn't as advertised, or was sold with broken parts.

Logic, mod picks a fight for no reason then deletes posts for some responding to their bogus claims.

There's never "no reason" to pick a fight with you and your lover, Dookstinker. You guys are hilarious.
