So i'm cruising around town with Brent & Babe Dyer. They're in thier gtx and I'm in my gtp. ( for those that don't know, thier car is the record holding XP cam M90 car.) Brent revs at me a little at a light which was completely unexpected bc his car is a garage queen and he babies it. I figure "what the hell" I'll run him....

Well he spun clear into 3rd gear of his 3.69s. and put 2 cars on me while spinning... oh it gets better.
Then he hooked up. You do the math because I'm not giving details.

Nice little ego check there for me. This is the fastest car I've ever ran against on the street. I am hoping to be near or beyond 370 whp after tuning this year. Unfortunately, it's a long shot from his 434 and close to 500 torque. He's been a big help in getting my car to the level it's at. I guess he wanted to show the difference between a heavily built xp car, and the record holding beast.

    VS cam build 13.01@107 316whp/ XP build #1 12.78@110 334whp/ XP build #2 12.56@113 347whp
IS3 Cam build (Ready to put out some serious numbers)

My car or his? I have no clue how fast my car is. Ive done a lot to it over the winter and still have yet to dyno tune it. Should be capable of 11's.

Brent & Babes gtx hasn't been to the track in years. It ran 12.00 full weight besides slicks & skinnies back when it dyno'd 357. I have no doubt it could run 10's in race trim nowadays.

No sir on the vid. it just plain looked bad. I had one, and after evaluating the evidence, I've made an executive decision to rule the video classified

No turbo for me. My goal is 11's so I'm just gonna utalize the setup I've spent all my money on lol. Most properly built gen V cars can get pretty deep into 11.

Hopefully he gives me another run. I raced on a 3.3 inch pulley. Im at 9.75:1 compression so the car still hauls ass , but the 2.8 and tune is gonna be what puts me in the higher 300 range. A re-match would be a much better race but... I'd still lose.

When I tune it with the 2.8 on it, I will post the vid. I'm only making 8 psi through these ported heads. He's pushing 19

Boost stacking is a stuuuupid term.

It's how these cars make power to being with.
