I was coming through town and a late 30's something chevy hotrod pulled out. I managed to catch him at the next light. We were still in town and I figured he might go for it after the next block and we were out of the town. Instead he pulled off slow then nailed it. I wasn't expecting that so I just floored it, I didn't even get a downshift. When I finally started pulling good I gained a little. I was at the next traffic light (where police sit a lot) and saw I was doing 70 so I left off until I cleared the end of town. Caught him out on thr 50 mile zone but traffic was backed up as far as you could see. There's two good streaches ahead but he turned off on a back road. I was already passed my turn so I turned around and when back. I'll have to look him up soon. I should have my rockers on by next weekend and my 3.5 pulley.
