    Your car stock?

If it is...then the Mustang needs the driver mod.

Because, buddy went consistant mid 13's with just a gear...and some ghetto fabbed intake/cutoff mufflers.

if by pedaling you mean not wot, then no. It was my friend, not some random guy at a light. He asked me to race, i accepted i won by 1 car. Maybe he spun, maybe he has misfire, who knows. Fact is, that was my experience and that's what the outcome was.

Um, of course you didn't pull bus lengths. Your car isn't anywhere near as quick as mine is.

And are you sure it wasn't a V6? The stock 3v GT's are slow, but not THAT slow. It would take a pretty big issue for one to lose to a GTP with your light mods. You would need at least a basic 3.4/3.5 set-up and probably headers to edge one out. If you were talking about a stock auto 99-04 2v GT then I would believe it 100%. Those are painfully slow. I whooped a few of those a long time ago when my 1st GTP just had intake and u-bend/cat delete.

you know from stock/mild boltons some 05+ mustangs have issue getting into 2nd and 3rd gear, everything torques over making it really hard to shift at high rpms. my brother has cold air intake and tune on his 05 stang and he has a hell of a time shifting while wot, has to wait tell the rpms die down then goes into gear smoothly.
so your buddy probably just cant shift well. and lost a car length doing so.

EDIT:nvm to above post just saw it was a auto stang, probably spun hard off the line not knowing how to launch + with the crap tires ford put on them, race him topend see how that goes.
what mph did this race go to? probably the stang just got done spinning and you tapped the brake and took it as a win lmao.

guys, i'm not retarded i can do math, i know that a car that weighs about the same and has 50whp more SHOULD win. but it didn't, what else can i say? i guess we'll just go with the driver mod theory, LOL

Indeed. There's an overwhelming critical sector, another group who is simply ignorant, and another mini cult who are completely FOS. The remaining 5 or so members don't buy into any of it. I'll let you judge for yourself who falls into what group; They're fairly obvious.

I realize you have a Daytona GTP, but just to clarify, do you mean a Charger Daytona or GTP Daytona.. and if talking about a Charger, I doubt that a stock GTP would destroy it, they are a fast grocery getter lol

I was refering to GTP Daytonas, and since I live in the same state as SF I was busting his chops by saying that my Daytona was faster. Which it's not. lol
