So me and my friends decided to go on a late night mcd's run. There were a total of 3 of us in the car, and my subs and hockey equipment (cause im canadian) in the trunk. We pulled up to the lights to make a left turn which leads to a long stretch of highway and I was enjoying my 1.39 junior chicken, when I see a truck with blue HID's pull up behind me and start revving the engine. So I make the turn and punch it and he punches it too, It was pretty much dead even, I pulled slightly after we hit 100km/h but it was hard to tell because he was behind me the whole time and we stopped at 120.

So after that we kept cruising down the highway and he pulls up next to me and tells me to go from 80, I slow down to 80 and he just gives er' , he didnt even honk lol so I stepped on it and by the time we hit 160, I was passing him and he threw on the brakes.

I was kind of suprised, I had 3ppl in my car including my fat ass and I have driven those trucks and there pretty fast, I think they run mid 14's in the 1/4

I know, I know.. Cool story bro.

Yea I've driven those things too, they are pretty damn quick. That would be a good matchup.

Cool story indeed. On a similar note, some TBF on an Ecoboob F150 in Tennessee today has a newfound respect for a Silverado SS from the 70 interstate roll. Hah.

My eco f150 weighs around 6100, weight is not in its favor. On a side note I seen Livernois is coming out w/a tune for these trucks, it's like 100+ rwhp.

You sure about 6100? My Silvy tips the scale at 5790, full time AWD, Iron 6 Liter, and OEM 20s...That sounds awfully heavy, but hey, anything is possible. Conversely,I hope Livernois can find 100 HP, that poor Hillbilly in TN might have been close enough to tell Maw what kicked his ass with 100 extra ponies.

Its starting to look grim for the average family sedan when a truck has about the same fuel economy and can do so much more such as tow/haul.

The Gas mileage argument is all in favor of the Ecoboost with this one, I am rewarded with 13 MPG whilest kicking Bent 6 ass. Worth every penny, might I add.

I know its not the truck but still the ecoboost motor. I like the car at the end the most...
