*Sigh* I'm sure I have the 2 slowest GTPs on the planet, but even my stockish red car will roll trainlengths on either of them. This is why I find it so amusing when someone claims to take out an LS1 with theirs.
*most* LS1 cars run mid to low 13' s, right? So when my buddy pulls two lengths on me in a roll race to 105~ from 60 I assume on a track I'm high 13' s compared to that and other vids with gtp's running that with similar mods. Neither of us have taken our two cars to the track but I think it's safe to assume we're close to or on track of that.
Clearly the only possible solution to this thread is to have ME drive the LS1 and then rematch.
NEDM time?
I specifically remember a sentence similar to this from an OLD issue of I think Super Street magazine.... "If you're in your turbo civic revving at an LS1 Camaro, you're going to get your doors blown off." It just stuck with me because, well, it's a damn ricer magazine.
My favourite was from a mustang mag about the 12.9x bone stock LS1 camaro...
"certainly can't run 12.9x in the heat? But it does."
Rofl.
Tell LS1 owners they have a 12 second car, and they scoff at you saying its unpossible.
Did you guys know the LS3 camaro runs high 12's with a good driver bone stock down to the tires?
LS3 C6's are equally deceptive.
You have vids or timeslips to back that outrageous claim?
Any is a lofty statement, but I'd say 99% of the W body guys who claim to roll out on one are 137% full of Sh!t. The other 1% are likely lying.
So I'm either full of sh!t or lying then?
Here, let the guys at Mustang Magazine break it down for you....
Yes, thats the tidbit I was referring to.
