Ran a Bullet tonight, roomies car, and lost 3/4 times lol. Did two digs, a 30 roll, and I beat him on like a 10 roll. 30 roll was pointless, the digs resulted in him pulling on me by 2 cars the first time and 1 car the seclng dig when I got a much better launch. The 10 roll I pulled him by a car or so. All the runs were to about 70 each time. I started developing some knock but it didn't matter lol. He gas cat back, intake, and some sort of basic tune I think, one of those handheld tuners so some timing I'd imagine. I'm L26, stock pulley, ported GenIII, 1.84 rockers, plog/dp .

I guess I should throw in the year, its an 01, not the Steve McQueen special. Its the same color at least lol

Over just a GT its a different intake manifold/tb that's good for a little more power IIRC

Didn't the Bullitt's have different intake/exhaust/underdrive pullies/suspension/brakes/gear than the standard GT?

I know they have 3.73's from the factory, which would probably help and explain the slower roll losses...but a top swapped supercharged car should have at least been door to door with it?

    Hmmm...

All this is true, except since this bullit is an 01 it has 3.27's from the factory. It was rated at 275 from ford (15 more horsepower then the new edge GT's). And typically runs about .5 to .6 faster then the GT in the 1/4.

EDIT: Which puts it at a mid 13 if anybody cares.

It was actually 265. I remember seeing tons of them at the Mustang Celebration at the Nashville Speedway in 2004.

2001 Ford Mustang Bullitt Production Numbers VIN Decoder Specifications & Parts - UPR Products

I didn't like gauages they used in them. Lots of the guys in the Thunderbird and Cougar club would PI swap and use the intake from the Bullitt. They would have to notch the hood bracing out for it too fit I think though... it has been awhile since I checked up on the stuff. That page also claims 14.1 on them but who knows right?

Edit: After reading the numbers on that page again I know for a fact 315ft/lbs is not what I remember. I remember seeing 305 just about everywhere..hmmmm.....

Yeah, same here on the trq. I remember seeing people say ford rated them at 275 also. I always thought they looked cool, but never looked into owning one.
