I think bringing in higher end cars to justify that is no really getting any where because obviously if people could afford those they would. Average Americans with average paying jobs can't come close to owning vehicles like those. I'm a gear head and when I decided to trade my cougar I wanted to get something that had still plenty of go. It just so happened that I stumbled on my Grand Prix and it met all the criteria I was searching for. Now back in the day I got a chance to test drive a 2003 GTP sedan that was white right at the dealership. I wanted to trade my Mustang in on it at the time a bit because I was really impressed with it but I didn't because I couldn't afford the payment at the time.
