This thread is just dumb. Bragging about evading a police officer that pulled a u-turn.

And dont tell me about back bone asshole when I was over in afghanistan destroying my sanity for ppl that take their freedoms granted.
First, Thank you for serving. I owe a debt of gratitude to you for doing so. I'm very serious about that - all else aside and I don't take the armed forces lightly at all.

Second, I missed the 1am part. Where was that mentioned?

Third, there's corruption in all walks of life and at every level. I find it hard to believe that all law enforcement "where you come from" is corrupt. Who would you call if your home was broken into while you were away and your belongings stolen?

Fourth, I still don't think you're above the law, even though you served (I think that was the comparison you were going for). If you're caught doing wrong, then man up and face the law. Why run from it? What are the real consequences going to be for going 35 in a 30 mph zone?

    Fifth - you're almost 40? ok.

No it dont put me above the law, but I dont see anyone complaining about 90% of these kill stories done on taxpayer highways and streets, that is illegal too. so lets not be hypocritical.

Holy crap... in Ok 5 yrs ago the police forces were all Caprices bone stock and slow, but they are determined officers and usually don't give up Then they upgraded to hemi chargers and a friend found out the hard way, they are alot faster than his slightly modded I5 Colorado. He got away with a ticket and nothing more because the cop was having a good day but still.

Good job for the kill but crap dude, 6 blocks at WOT??? did you triple or quadruple the speed limit?

BTW just a thought. I was younger and naive and pulled over for a cop that wasn't even after me because I was speeding and saw red and blue and knew I was busted. He looked at me really funny as he went by. I felt stupid. Are you really sure he was even after you? That's just crazy driving for the possibility that he even noticed your wrong doing...

^ Don't you have to pull over for emergency vehicles? I know in MN you do when they have their lights on.

Yes you do, but I was going down the highway at about 90 and he pulled out from the side of the road and I knew it was me. A clue SHOULD have been my radar detector didn't go off, but I pulled over anyways. Thus why he looked at me funny

I was then informed not to assume your the one they are after, just move over and if they stay behind you, your a winner

I'd just like to add that our turnpike only has exits maybe every 10-20 miles(so no cars merging on and off) if that, and the normal speed limit is 75mph and it was very light traffic when I was speeding. And there are no houses anywhere near it and in my 6 years driving on it I've never seen a pedestrian. Just wanted to add that before I get bashed for the excessive speed. And I really couldn't care less about a ticket, I just didn't have the time for one...lol I'm a union steward at my plant and I'm expected to set an example and can't be showing up late.

You know what I would love? For this thread to get reported to the police and for them to find you and arrest you for running. Guess what? It wouldn't be the first time.
