I have a 00 3800 SE with diy intake and poly mounts cut off se exhaust(sounds pre bad workin on it tho) and 180 stat And my friend has a 96 v6 5 speed camaro RS with open cone filter... And we lined em up (several times) He usually wins when he hooks up off the line i am pretty much always in front of him whether he hooks up or not but he pulls pretty hard when i hit 2nd gear i can tell my slobomatic shifts way slower than his manual but its always a good race not matter who wins! But from 30 he has zero chance and i know its not driver error either! Does these mods help that much to give me a chance with him?

2-4 hp didn't turn the tide, tired old 96 v6 which was slow to begin with deserves the credit.

V6 Camaros are slower than balls..true story. Ask me how I know.

V6 Camaro beating an L32? 200Hp and 225 Ft lbs of tqs vs 260 hp and what like 300(?) Ft-lbs of tq...nuh uh, no way, no how. GTP was messin with him unless the Camaro is cammed or something which even then, still probably wouldnt win.

Good race though..doesn't surprise me that a 3800 SE GP will run with it.
