    Finally had my first kill the other night in my gp which wasn't against a friend. Theres no one to race where i am, so all i do is race my friends but last night was finally a first random encounter.

    Went to Mcd's with a friend last night, on our way out we saw a kid in a mustang sitting in the parking lot. I started up the gp and was about to drive over and talk to him but he just started to leave. We followed him for a few mins. I pull up next to him then we go. He pulled ahead at first since my tranny doesnt decide to shift into the right gear, but then once it did i pulled ahead and got about 3 lengths on him. Then we came up to a red light, and i get the thumbs up and i returned it. When it went green we took off, he beat me since i got the ****ty tires on because during the winter i take off my good rims with good tires on. We ended up pulling over down the road and talked for a good half hour. Hes a nice guy. He was pretty impressed with my car, thought it was a complete sleeper. When i first pulled up he thought it would be an easy race since i have a gt not gtp. But i happen to be sc'd so it was a different story He had a 1998 gt 5.0L, all stock accept for a cat back exhaust. Those stangs sound sick at wot

    GET A BIGGER DP YOUR CAR IS CHOKING...Or headers. Either way a 2.5" is worthless with a blown car.

    Other than that...good kill. Also...if it did have the 5.0....then it was a 94-95...same body style though for the most part.

    Is this "choking" enough to give me kr? And doesn't a stock gtp have a 2.5 dp? So wouldn't I be fine? I got the 2.5 dp before I went sc anyway

    You have higher compression, you can't compare your car to a in that sense. You need to do more supporting mods per pulley.

    I believe the GT has 9.4 and the GTP has 8.5 but I'm probably wrong.

    stock GTP would take a 98 GT (4.6L).
    I can take my bro easily (he has a 98 Mustang GT) but mines not stock. :P

    I had a 95 GT vert auto with a FWI and Dronemasters and raced a blown regal from a 30 roll. I was ahead for about say 2-3 secs and then bye bye Buick. I have been wanting to race a 94-98 GT of any type to see how bad i can beat them with my GP.

    Very nice, those mustangs sound really good with the right exhaust, but without serious mods they just don't make the power unless they're a cobra, poke knows what I'm talking about
