Lay the smack down on a 2nd Gen GTP. I was heading west bound on Lake St. when I see this dude in a GP weaving in and out of traffic behind me. There's a bit of traffic so really no where to go. As he comes up behind me he's switching back in forth from both lanes (L-R, R-L) Finally there's an opening so he jumps in it. All the time I'm thinkin dude there's no where to go. As we approach the light (greenbrook, where Caputos is at) it turns red, I'm like hell yeah it's on. He pulls up to the light first so I stay back about half a car so I can check the car out. It's debadged so I have no clue if it's a GT or GTP He had a gauge pod so I figured the latter. The dude was all cocky, sunroof open, music blaring, tattooed arm out the window smoking on a cancer stick.
So Finally the light turns green so I waited to see what he was gonna do, when all I hear is weeeeeeeeeeee. He took off and I gave chase I gave him about a car head start so I frickin hit it, as the Goodyear Eagles screamed for traction the tires chirped as the trans shifted (trannyman Dave Built) I started pulling on him, I'm like woohooo take that I easily put 3 cars on him

Yeah, what mods? 3.4 DOHC or 3100? Either way i'm guessing a GT and not a GTP and I assume you have some mods. I've seen mildly done up GTs eat up 3100 and 3.4 dohc Gen1s pretty easily. You must have a little work done and/or some spray. Maybe L67 swapped?

    Either way, good kill...

That's pretty funny... I like how you've kept the look, but done so much. Kinda what i would like to do someday. These cars are the perfect sleeper...Nice job!

Hell, I had no idea you had trannymans old GP! I knew he had a good running pre-gen. I stand corrected, L67 swap FTW! I figured you had a 3100 or a 3.4 DOHC.

I wish I would of kept my 93 and eventully put an L67 in it. It was a damn good car.

If you ever wanna sell that pre-gen let me know...

Thanks guys for all your compliments, the car is truly a blast to drive. I enjoy it more than my 500hp Mustang.
