Definitely. Your GTP will most likely beat the Si stock.

i have an 04 gtp with intake and ran 14.6 at the track so i think it would be pretty close..i see it says you have the wizard going on next week. i would get that on before the race...im calling this one a drivers race for him to lose

Why would anyone give an 'Si' credit?

Ask him how many lengths he wants. Ten? Twenty?

haha funny. well for one the OP only has down pipe. so hes pretty much stock. with an intake i ran 14.6 (i also have a gen 5) the si ran 14.8. the OP is problew pretty close to that time. if they get a pretty even start off the line the SI is going to start to pull up top (id say around 50) yes the si does not have as much torque but its lighter with a high reving engine and good gear ratios. its deff gonna run it down but its just a matter of when??

given the time that he gave for the si should be pretty close. if the si hangs with him off the line then its si race all day cause its just gonna keep pulling hard the faster they go. if the OP jumps him hard off the line, say a couple of cars then the si might not be able to make it up in time. but if he dont jump him off the line the si has it..

I roll around my town and make all honda's look like a waste of time. Just two nights ago I sat behind an SI while he took off...waited until about 60, and then on the outside of a turn I pulled out and went around him blazing about 95... Later I had me a civ hatch with camed B16 intake and exhaust and smoked his world. Unless Honda's are boosting over 10lbs, or have full internals, tune and some wieght loss...there not much more than a gas saver. Kick his ass!

well ill put it this way. i raced a scion tc trd the other day. stock they run the same time as a new si. he was completly stock. i have an intake and a series III with the gen V motor (20 more hp than the OP motor). i also had my headlight out just for the hell off it. from 70 to 110 i SLOWLY put a car length on it, if that. if he had intake and full exhaust he problew would have had me. just because its a honda does not mean its slow, and gtp are NOT that fast stock..come on guys yall act like this is the fast car in the world.

I won!! First i do have my CAI installed. We raced from a dig and i was quickly able to put a car and a half on him. We shut down around 70 and he was still at my back bumper. We did it again this time i feathered the pedal to avoid wheel spin, he said he launched at a higher rpm so basically got the same outcome. On highway speeds i would think we would be neck and neck. Not bad for a NA 4cyl as we both had intake and exhaust.

close. within a 1/4 mile it might have been neck and neck. good job tho. it takes a lot of power (over the others persons car) to stop there pull and then pull on them. the intake problew helped you out a lot here. with out he might have got you. good job tho. i kinda wish you lost to shut all the haters up but good run

Dude, go hang out at the Honda forum or something. They're not going to get much, if any respect over on a Pontiac forum. I know I have absolutely zero, 0 , respect for one.

Even if you do actually own one out of five million other Honda's thats actually fast, and win, your still retarded.

and what makes them so retarted?? if you ask me your retarted for trying to make a fwd car fast we all have our .02 cents...just is it a lagetament excuse??
