    do you have problems snappaing cv axles?? i would love to put a 5 spd in my impala but would like to know how you arent snapping cv axles?(most people in my forum say 5pd always snaps axles)
    any info would be helpfull.

    ya my 89 was breaking azles literally 2-3 times a week, this car seems to hold up well, but the little it of lag helps as 1st gear was the issue before and just snapping them,
    02 Grand Prix GT Intercooled turbo 5-speed 718whp 618wtq @ 21psi 7575 billet, spool valve, custom manifolds, 4" downpipe, 16way adjustable coilovers, 18x9.5 with 275's all around, gxp interior, gxp brakes
    tilton triple disc, custom aluminum flywheel, tilton slave and master, an awful lot more

    Also i'd like to point out you said the "Viper is a track car, not a drag car"...so why compare a Camaro in the nurburgring...surely a Camaro isn't a track car and surely the Viper isn't a drag car....both cars have their strengths and weaknesses.

    Yeah but I'm not assuming the price is new, I'm saying real life. Auto trader/ebay... $30-$40k vipers... why buy a new camaro.

    I dunno, I'm a huge viper whore haha. I like and respect drag racing, but it's 1/4 mile, not physically demanding, and more based on tuning than actual skill. don't get me wrong, there is a ton of knowledge with drag racing, reaction times, perfect launches, setting up the right timings with launches and bracket racing... but Ferarri, Lamborghini, and every other high end car brand wouldn't spend millions of dollars trying to make a beastly car for a straight line. It's the brakes, the suspension, the weight, everything, versus just stripping a car out and putting fat tires on the drive wheels and as much power as possible.

    You get 10x the car with a super sports car, and if you can get one the same price as a new whatever, the super sports car wins every day of the week in my eyes. well, besides insurance and maintenance...

    I think vipers are sick. The new ACR is beyond beast. Has anything beat it on top gear yet?
