So I got off work on a nice friday night about 11:30 just driving home windows down master of puppets playing letting off some post work steam, hear a turbo whine behind me. Sure enough here comes a F-350 powerstroke up next to me kind of staying with me waiting for a light, well i've never actually raced my gtp and I'm pretty paranoid of getting pulled over but what the heck lets go for it after a quick scan for the authorities we pull up to a red light, ford's revving a bit I can't even see the driver without leaning across my passenger seat but anyway light turns, we both take off he's revved up i just gun it and shoot away like my car weighs a few thousand less than his and floor it up to the speed limit of 40, for the win. He pulls past then we get even I look over he throws out the peace sign I give him the thumbs up and he drops back and takes off and turns and I drive home... triumphantly.

hey, don't take diesels lightly. I used to have an 06 Gt Mustang, and last year at Milan, I was lined up against a tan 4X4 Chev pickup with those stock metal wheels. As I entered the beams, I thought "this should be easy". Man, I was wrong.....this guy ran an 11.8

if you have a cummins or a duramax they can be pretty quick. just a tuner can bump the power up to 600+ hp and 1000 torque. powerchokes are junk.

Yeah, my buddy has a cummins with 24's and 37" tires lifted 8 inches. Running twin turbo setup making around 1200 hp and 1800 ft pounds runs like 11's. 4 ton truck moves.

^^^exactly. all you have to do is search for the cummins diesel's beating vipers on youtube. you can see the truck, it's the poor viper that's stuck behind it that you can't see
