Raced my friends prelude with the DOHC VTEC H22 motor and a manual tranny and his mods are headers, intake, catback, test pipe. From a 30 roll i pulled pretty good and from a dig completely stomped him once he got into second gear and i was still pulling hard in 1st. My car is a basically stock GT just an intake and magnaflow muffler and no CAT, but i get my headers tomorrow. And TOP SWAP is soon. So either he is gonna go turbo or swap a GSR motor now cuz he was convinced by all the HOnda fools at my highschool that his car would smash on mine, and he didnt have a chance. His launch was kinda bad from the dig he spun a little but not too much and he is a pretty good driver i would say so it was a legit win. Honda 0 GP 5

should have titled this "You wont believe this 2!" I used to have an 01 pelude with the h22 and it was pretty stinkin quick for a 4 cylinder and ive also driven the GP GT's and they do good for what they have, but out of the 2 i would go for the prelude all day but like they said if he cant drive it then it dont matter lol good job.

Only thing I prefer about a Prelude over a GP is it comes 5-speed. While the motor is a nice one, it's too heavy of a car. I guess nice kill, if you're impressed by 16-17sec cars

thank god he just admitted it. once you get blown he will have no chance, even if he does a GSR swap. i raced a GSR swapped integra in my car when it was still n/a and he only beat me by maybe a car length. if we would have raced after my L67 swap i would have owned him like no other.

Honda, all the turbo lag you could want...without the turbo.

Actually...the difference there is some of those cars had the 5-spd option from the factory...the 97's or newer do not.
