I couldn't believe these replies until I went on you tube and saw John Force beating Cruz Pedregon on his rain slicks. Gee, I guess I'm wrong, street racing in the rain? PERFECTLY SAFE. Hey Jeff Gordon won the Daytona 500 a few years ago in Hurricane Andrew didn't he?

Yeah, I feel really stupid for giving somebody a little crap for street racing in the rain (oops, sorry wet, I know it makes a difference). Give me a huge f***ing break guys.

    PS jeopardy, aren't

Wow - we're going to start crying over spelling? I guess that's a point you make when you've run out of other logical things to contribute to a discussion. NHRA in the rain, NASCAR in a hurricane - relax, this was a couple of sub 300hp cars on a wet street, hardly a reasonable comparison. Funny, this was an actual reasonable discussion thread till you showed up with a chip on your shoulder and a point to make. You stated what you thought, it was rebuttled, end. Now you're just dragging things on with ridiculous examples and spelling corrections that add nothing to the discussion and detract from the quality of the thread.

You are, of course, welcome to give somebody crap about something on an internet forum. The point is, you were presented with the facts, and you are not interested in them, you are much more interested in proving whatever point you're trying to make about how dangerous you assume (because you don't know) my situation was. Ok, you can't handle the wet - I understand, please take it easy whenever the conditions are not ideal for you. However, please in turn understand that we are not all the same, and what may have been a situation you couldn't have controlled enough to maintain safety (I must consider this is the case, based on your strong reactions) was a situation I was completely comfortable with, and felt there was insignificant danger.

jeez, I already said that street racing in the rain is completely safe and you were totally right in what you did. You made a believer out of me, from now on it's only street racing in the rain for me. Who wants to run me?

    ps lol
