During the calm night hours the Pontiac roams. Scouting for new feeding grounds the Pontiac gracefully moved through out the lanes. Undetected a predator lurked behind him. Then suddenly lunged towards the Pontiac! The Pontiac leaps in the passing lane and charges! The predator having the jump advantage gains on the Pontiac with killing force. The challenger is finally revealed through a single passing street light. The Mustang GT. The Pontiac growls as they aproach a stop light. Growling and snarling they challenge eachother to a final showdown. Light turns green and rubber flys! Squeeling and whining down the road the two go head to head in a fierce battle of pride. The Mustang gets the advantage with pure strength but then traffic appears suddenly. Eager to win the Pontiac swerves into the center lane hitting loose dirt and fish tailing at 80mph almost colliding with oncoming traffic. The Mustang quickly swerved into the emergency lane loosing traction and hitting grass that flys widly into the air. The Pontiac regains control and pulls ahead as the Mustang struggles to get back onto the roadway but eventually accepts defeat. The Pontiac roars as he speeds off into the night and continues his search for feeding grounds.

Yeah the fact that you both lost traction when racing in traffic. Good kill but really stupid. You made a FWD car fishtail and he drove through grass, my buddy just got killed (as in he's dead) pulling crap like that.

That was only the second time in my life I raced like that... first time was 140mph through heavy traffic in my 3000GT racing against four other 3000GT's in Orlando, FL.

Good story, don't die to beat a mustang though, just not worth it.

Wow, you are lucky no one did anything dumb in front of you. I had my friends 99 VR4 in the middle 160s and they really don't like to stop...

FWIW the one and only time I raced in "traffic" which was about 4 cars we got spotted by a cop in a parking lot eating dinner and he nailed us a mile up the street. Got lucky that night, he said if he saw it all and had clocked us we would be sitting in lockup with no cars.

On my 3000GT they first thing I did to it was upgrade the brake system. All new calipers and drilled & slotted rotors.. It would slam your head into the dash it stopped so fast.

i hope if you kill someone doing that they give you life not just the easy way out.
that way you think about how everyday the person you killed's family has to move on with out them being there and why you can't be with other people

They can but its usually caused by forced over-steer, or hydro-planing... niether easily controlled and often cause wrecks. RWD fishtailing you can get into the throttle to keep it or let off to straighten out but with FWD the backs going crazy and the rest of the car is just along for the ride... so to speak
