You guys have no clue. You can put a junkyard turbo on a gutted hatch and run 11's for next to nothing when compared to a GP.

I was about to mention this but also say not to many people actually do that and most hondas you see are slow. Not to mention if you gut your car just to get up to those speeds in a way you loose because you no longer have what I would consider a full car. That's just my 2 cents.

I would suspect there are more 11 second hondas in town than 14 second ones.

Question: what stock honda block takes more than 5 psi of boost without blowing up?

    Then i'll ask it again.

I'm not going to research honda blocks but the honda guys at my work seem to think that most honda engines explode after 5-7 PSI unless they're sleeved.

    So i'll ask again...

Edit: my own curiosity exceeds your ability to respond in stupidly short periods of time.

See I have to drive to Dallas Tx, or OKC or Tulsa, Ok to see anything resembling a 11sec Honda... Thats' a 2+ hr in either direction drive to find a fast Honda... the people around here run a 15sec 1/4 and think they're flying because they've never been in a fast car. The "fast" cars are owned by the rich, a couple Vipers, 3-4 911s, 1 Ford GT (actual GT not a Rustang GT). The 11s or lower Camaro's are just other V8 cars like Mustangs that are only faster because of the "gas guzzling V-8" and they don't count because they're "poor" mans fast cars. This is the consistent excuse i hear from the fast and furious Honda drivers in my area.

BTW Everyone gives me hell and thinks I'm an idiot for even considering modifications to my car because its a boat that will never be able to be a fast car HAHA... well see who's laughing when i hit 12s

I was next to a Galant about a week ago that ran a 12.202sec @114.45mph.

It was impressive. Poor reaction time though, he needs the driver mod.

I know next to nothing about Hondas but how does a K20, a motor with 11:1 compression stock, handle a turbo or any boost for that matter?
