Even the author of the thread is agreeing with me. They can be quick cars. One with TRW's likely has more done to it. The heads could be ported, a lot of people don't share all info about their cars.

FML. the camera did not have the memory card in it. i have maybe 5 secs of footage
its a stout car tho for sure. in the upper rpm it pulled like a *****. we would be pretty even then he would pull out on me maybe a car, shift, hold that lead, powerband, pull out on me another car.
it has 3.27 gears.
depending on the race and how long we would go for he could get 2 cars out on me. he also could not drive the car like he stole it either. he could have been quicker on the shifts. with a good driver, i would say it could put 4 on me.
we never really got a dead even start race. the times i would get the jump it would be a damn close race with him getting me by a half a car to a car in the end. we slowed down to 30 one time, we pretty much got the same hit, but i had to wait on my car to down shift, it droped first and i pulled out on him maybe a fender, then he pulled back up even and out on me maybe a bumper, then he would shift and drop back half a car. on that run i held him off to about 110. that was the best run.
the car has pontential to go 12's with the right driver.

and everytime i use my tap shift, the trans starts to slip. manually shifting the valve body is really not good.

there is gonna be a rematch in a few days, i had somethings off in the tune that was hurting me.
ive never had problems with my tap shift......if your tranny slips ever its an issue
why dont you stick to picking on V6's
why, the trans works perfectly when its in drive. if i dog on it in tap shift it starts to slip and gears start to bang. i have heard of alot of people to tare up there trans in tap shift. even trannyman, the guy that is probably the best 4t65e builder, will void your warrenty if you manually shift the valve body. thats got to say something.
