I will stick to my carb. Crossfires can be made to make hp but it isn't worth it IMO. In camaros and TA's it was 93-97. I'm sure both engine start a year earlier in corvettes.

I would stick with a carb too. I also agree it's not worth it to get numbers out of the Crossfire. The newer LT-1 was produced 92-97, first introduced inside the 92 vette.

What a genius idea. In fact you can guarantee the car is stock.

Here's how I know your 290 whp LT1 is not stock, it allegedly dyno'd 290 whp.

Who said that? Your skin must be absorbing that face paint into your brain which is causing you to read things that don't exist. Did you make sure it was non-toxic? I'm kind of worried of your health now, you should go to the hospital.

Here are some examples of my claims. The Firehawk has roughly the same mods I have:

Not every engine is the same out of the factory. In fact many late LT1s do 270 whp. My car isn't exactly modded to a high extent but it should come close to those numbers.

I've done my research, and I should be doing 115 in the eight!!!!!
    This is what I quoted.

This is what I commented about.

When you tell me I should paypal you money if you dyno 280 whp, you clearly didn't read my post.

I never saw numbers in any of the runs. V-6 camaros get 304, so whats with the arguement over 290 is it really that important?

This is what you said. I never said my car would dyno 290 whp. I said it would dyno 280 whp. I also said my car wasn't stock, a page back I list my mods. With my mods I'm guessing it will run around 280 whp which it is capable of doing.

You should read a whole conversation before butting in acting like an internet bad @$$ and making yourself look like a complete idiot. I've owned this car for awhile, I know what I have done to it and I know what it should run. Why you guys are contradicting me, I will never know.

I also don't understand how you have to try and make everyone feel like complete crap over their ride or accomplishments with their car. Why does it matter? Instead of acting this way you should be supportive of your fellow car enthusiast. I used to act like you when I was sixteen until I realized how much of an idiot and jerk I was being. Also the fact that other people wouldn't want to converse with me at car meets because only negativity would come out of my mouth.

Were you beaten as a child? What do you have to prove on this forum? I'm not angry at you, I just feel very sorry for you.

Maybe they didn't run those numbers, I don't know. I didn't make the videos, those aren't my friends nor my cars. They are just what five minutes of you tube searching came up. Still believable numbers, imo.

I'm almost positive my camaro book was talking about fourth gen's when they first came out and the were right around 300 at the flywheel. Hey I've told many people my car is stock. If you're dumb enough to fall for it and race me, you deserve to lose lol.

People are the opposite towards me. They hear my stupid SLP Loud Mouth 1 Cat Back and assume the worst. My car isn't fast at all. All I'm doing to it until I graduate WMU is Headers and Y-Pipe to make some serious noise. Then I will be at like 850 whp!

My point still stands. Your lt1 did not dyno 290 whp in stock form. If you paid attention to my post, before you went into your little rant, you'd see that my comment is simple, A STOCK LT1 DOES NOT DYNO 290 whp. Your car is slow and you're dumb as ****.

The commentary that came after that is irrelevant. You don't know how to read for ****.

    Period.

On a secondary note. I have no intention of making you feel like crap. 280+ whp is a nice number in any car. I'm happy you've modified yours to hit that number, but I have to laugh that you talk about stock lt1's hitting 290 whp when yours needs mods to MAYBE hit 280.

That said, if you need my support on the internet, you need a life coach.

Thanks for your compliment, I do appreciate it. You can think and laugh that LT1s can't do 290 whp stock, but I've seen it, in person, on dyno tests.

As for my commentary, most if not all the posts I have seen you write up have been filled with insults and are counter productive. Basically when people see you show up they shudder of the thought of reading what you have to say. I don't understand your approach at all and frankly I don't like it.

I know my car is slow, I was going to run it against a Grand Prix SE remember?

I've heard some good stories about the crossfire injection. They all say the same thing "if you know how to work on one, they're capable of great things." I was referring to the lt1 with the c4 vette's. It's just not my favorite engine.

I can respect that. I know LT1s aren't the fastest things in the world but they were the starting point to starting the LSx series motors. I enjoy my LT1, the sound is much deeper than that of LSx motors due to (what I think) the steel block.

The C4 I had with the Crossfire was also a fun car to drive. It was fantastic to look at but didn't have the brute force that my current LT1 has. It is capable of amazing things, I was in a Crossfire club for a long time and saw some amazing mechanics get unreal numbers that I thought wasn't possible out of the motor. I just didn't want to spend the enormous amount of time and money it takes to get those numbers. However, I'll never forget my 84 the same way you never forget your first... kiss.
