    lol, even in 5th the wrx woulda pulled with 3k under the hood. i ran 350z's, rx8's wit my wrx with only 1500 under the hood and they would downshift 3rd and i would just leave it in 5th and would pull, well i was boosting 17 lbs.
    3.4 pulley, 3" catless dp (ubend deleted), 3" exhaust split to 2.5 dynomax mufflers (no res), zzp plog, 4" spectre intake, alt rewire, under/overdrive pulleys, intense pcm, 3/4" zzp tb spacer, al 104's, 180* stat, msd coils/8.5mm wires, heatwrapped crossover, flipped db's, optima red top, sunpro st boost gauge: boosting 11lbs.

    SICK! that wrx sucked at launch, shifted far too early and skipped 2nd,3rd and 4th, just slammed it into 5th instead, like a real badass :P

    Ya my buddy's was running like 5 lbs. at the time. he was running low boost for what he has done. the amount of boost usually has a tendency to affect the outcome of a race

    5 lbs? y even take it down that low? stock is like 10-12 lbs.
