My car can't get modded quick enough. So, I found out today that my car is 1 car length quicker from 65 to 110 than a 4.6 96-98 GT 5spd mustang with h-pipe and flowmasters.

H-Pipe is fail on a 5.0 OR 4.6 motor...X-Pipe FTW.
Also...those Mustang's MAYBE ran 14's. So...good kill
good kill
nice kill. get those exhaust mods on already
I love beating up on v8s! They think they are king. What sucks is my v6 only winning by 1 car length. Hence, the sole purpose that I'm prone to having V6 cars and 4cyl cars that smack v8s. The best part is putting their hopes down when they think they are going to win! HAHAHAHA! I'm still proud of my stock GP even though it was a slow 4.6 mustang gt! I am sure he was disappointed and that's all that matters.![]()
joel just think about how much better it'll be w/my d/p on.........thats gonna make a nice difference for an easy bolt on. btw your $ was released last nite on paypal...and i found a good(used) rear gasket for the d/p.
Cool, actually I was getting ready to ask if that dp took special gaskets or not so I could get them. Wasn't sure. Soon as the plog and dp get here I will run the car down to the exhaust shop and have them installed. I looked under my car and the dp bolts are rusted to hell so I figure they are better off burning out the bolts and stuff than me doin it and that way if there is a leak at any of the joints, they can fix it. I don't have time to d***k with it. I will let you know when the dp gets here!
no man, don't pay anyone to instastall it. let 'em soak and if it breaks big deal. i have the rear gasket, just get a stock front one. just use jack stands. another person i vaguely knew got crushed a few weeks ago, no jackstands.
There's no soaking these bolts! I might have to use a grinder to cut them off. You can't even distinguish the threads. I just don't really have time to mess with it. I work 6-7 days a week. If the parts come in, I might be able to do it friday night before I leave work. So, I need the gasket you have for the rear? And a stock one will work for the front? Is the rear one also replaceable with a stock gasket? If so, I will just buy a new one there too so that I'm less likely to have any exhaust leaks. I can't stand exhaust leaks! Just wondering about the gaskets so I can get them in advance when I get time. Thanks
