Here's what I think.. Wait to drop pulleys honestly! Until you at the very least get a DP. The front manifold and DP on these cars are a huge problem when it comes to flow. More air coming in from the smaller pulley is going to need to escape, see what I mean?

I agree! When the 03 Cobras came out A rich kid I knew got one for his graduation. LOL. I thought I'd race him in my MR2 I had quite a few mods. intake, full exhaust from the turbo back, custom ecu, greddy i/c, supra tt injectors and pump, 60 trim CT26 turbo, with a 10 degree turbine clip, act clutch, boost controller @ 18psi, and a few other little mods. I smashed him outta the hole from having mid engine rear drive. As soon as I hit about 45mph, he caught me and started walkin on me pretty good. I then got ticked and threw on a GT25 DBB turbo, custom header, custom 3" dp, p&p head, cams, and a custom dyno tune. He slapped on headers, x-pipe, flowmasters, intake and a pulley onto his stock car. Waxed my ass again! I wasted a little over 3 grand in those extra mods on top of the 3 or so I already had on the car. He spent, well his MOM AND DAD spent about 1500 in mods to that car and it was an f'n monster. That's when I learned to leave those cars alone. haha! If I build the bottom end so I could run about 30-35psi boost (turbo is good for a bit over 40 i think) on it I could beat up on them, but its not worth the money just so I can say I beat a lightly modded 03-04 Cobra. Stupid Fords! I wish they'da never made those d**n cars.

Me too actually. I'm just jealous cause I don't have one. I bought an 04 Roush stage 2 'Stang with a 12lb vortech. Some f**knut performance shop screwed up a fuel line connection into my fuel rail when they installed 42lb injectors with the kit. The car dyno'd 395rwhp and 396tq and it never made it home. R.I.P. 14k mile 1 of 8 40th anniv. redfire metallic 04 roush stage 2s. It won't allow me to attach a picture of it. Damnit.

a98gtp4u - I've been looking at zzp's plogs. The only ones they have in stock are the stainless ones. I don't see me ever wearing out a mild steel one so I'd rather have that but they're out of stock.
