So I was cruising around on broadway burning time awaiting for the midnight release of call of duty 6. My buddy and I kept seeing this 2g Eclipse, definitely non-turbo, messing around on the other side of the road, we always missed him on every lap we did. I kept wavin' at him everytime we passed until finally saw him do a u-turn in the middle of the road. So we lined up at a red light. I looked at him and pointed towards the road and he nodded. I turned TRAC off and put the brake to the floor and gassed it to about 1700rpms. It went green. I got a perfect launch. I was a good 2 car lengths ahead of him the whole time as I kept hearing him redline with his fleet farm muffler. I kept pulling away. I heard him miss his 3rd gear shift and he immediately slammed the brakes and did another u-turn in the middle of the road as he flipped me off.

    damn rice-ahs.

    Try an iron duke in a 3600lb. Buick Century...with a 3 -spd.

Talk about FAST. I'm talking 20's in the 1/4 with a GOOD launch

Was half a 305 which made torque and ZERO power.

Look at all the "positive" aspects of this engine. Its amazing this article isn't flagged, might mean those things are actually true.

Racing in/against slow cars is 10X more fun then racing "fast" cars.
