Me and my buddy own two of the nicer cars in school along with some other guys so we deceided to get people together for some drag racing out in the country. There is a private road that is a little over a quater mile from a dead end to this little hill (we have start, finish lines painted) and we send a guy to the top of the hill to watch for other cars/police (which no cars ever come but just as a safety measure...)
so basically friday finally comes around and three people flake out, and two cars were having trouble so we were pretty bummed but followed through anyways. We set out with my gp gt, and 04 mustang gt with intake, exhaust, and headers, a bone stock 0 caddy cts, and some beastly ass turbo v6 toyota truck lol

    First race:me vs mustang
We both spun pretty bad but he ended up beating me by 2-3 cars

    Second race: me vs caddy
I smoked the bastard by a car hahah but it turns out he wasnt actually flooring it because it was his momma's car and he was nervous (his mustang broke down)
we raced again and he got me by a car and a half. and his car sounded MEAN!! haha

Third race: mustang vs truck, truck spun bad but beat the stang. dunno by how much

Fourth race: me vs truck, he had a really good launch but i started to catch up, i was at his door at the end. he was pretty surprised later when i talked to him, he was like is that s/c? and i smiled and said not yet haha

Anyways, I have footage of all of these races and ill post them later this week due to the fact that they are on my buddies camera.

And about two hours ago me and some people went out and did it again, but with less people

Race 1: suzuki forenza (lol) vs 03 sebring coupe w/ mitsu 3000gt engine swap, built trans, intake, and exhaust and its manual
    ya guess who won lol

    Race2:me vs forenza
i raped him by five+ lengths

race3 and 4: me vs sebring
we both had 1 person besides ourselves in the car, i brake boosted and got a better launch. his nose was at my rear quarter and it stayed that way the whole race. i was dumbfounded that i won. we raced again and had a more even launch and he pulled on me and beat me by a car length.

this was a very good weekend, and again, go ahead and call bs, i have video. just wait

oh and two weeks from now we are trying to do this again but with more people. here is the list of what should show up...

04 mustang gt 40th anniversary (light mods)
    04 mustang gt (light mods)
    06 caddy (stock)
    03 sebring (decently modded)
    ?civic (heavilly modded)
    chevy s10 (decently modded)
    Volks GLI (lightly modded)
    Jetta vr6 (?)
    96-97 cobra (?)
    beastly truck (heavilly modded)
    07 chevy cobaly (heavilly modded)
    Audi s4 (lightly modded)
and possibly a bmw roadster with an M3 engine swap and twin turbos. I think he said somethin like 650whp lol
    and me =p

i might have forgotten some but it should be fun, and sorry for the huge post ha

I raced him sunday. Very close, i got a better start on the one race and beat him. Again, its not your average sebring. Its a 2003 sebring coupe. Manual transmission. Hard to find. Then factor in a 3000GT engine and a built transmission. He beat me in the second race by alot because he didnt spin as much as he did during the first race

Yeah...3000GT engine swap is even more fail than the stock 2.5 DOHC or 4 banger.

Its pretty fast. Not faster than a gtp with minor bolt ons or anything but its quick, ive driven it lol
I think he said something about him getting a supercharger and thatll put him just under 400hp

Boosting a non turbo 6G72 is more fail than a 3.4" on a stock GTP

This is why this forum can be annoying. A whole bunch of middle aged guys who think their gtp is the fastest car in the world and everything else is slow. Me and the people I chill with may not have super fast cars but at least we have a social life. Your the failure here. If your so concerned about speed sell your gtp. It will only get you so far.
