20''s are not no big rims man. If u stayed in the midwest u would see some REAL BIG rims ridin on cars around here 20''s are small compared to those. An if i recall i said that i didnt have the 20''s on at the time i was ridin on my stock wheels.

40-80 is hardly even a race, how the **** did you get the jump on that with 40mph lag? unless you were manually shifting...ftl. Fwiw trap speeds are what counts in a roll race. No way in hell your car traps just shy of 100 :th_laugh-lol3:.
/Im done talking about fantasy racing.
"but, im pretty sure i can easily crack 16's in the 1/4 if i take off my 20''s an put on my stock tires at the drag ill post my slips when i go up there." "
. Purple plazma was probably the only driver when he ran those good times in the monte(not 4 deep) ............."
Keep in mind my 15.47 run was with just me in the car as I've NEVER seen ANY track that allows any passengers in vehicles when drag racing, they don't even allow "cages" to run against motorcycles at my local track anymore. Plus, this run was when my GT was less than 1 year old and was at it's peak performance after it had a couple thousand miles on it.
Unfortunately, the old saying "talk is cheap" applies here. If you've never been to a drag strip to actually race, you'll need practice to get the perfect combo that results in a time slip worth posting. The slowest of my time slips from my GT G.P was a less than stellar 16.194 @ 85.50 m.p.h. My 60' was 2.330 :th_frowning: Best to go when temps are no colder than mid-high 50s because the track temp will be to cold for maximum traction even with traction compound applied to the surface if it's colder outside. Also, lower the air pressure in your front tires starting at around 25 lbs and go as low as 22lbs if needed. Raise your rear tire pressure to around 50 lbs or so for less friction which = less h.p. needed. I seem to remember my best results were letting the car shift itself. Post your results with pix , especially of the time slips. Practice!

Yea thats what i meant. 4 ppl make up a big difference rather than 1 going down the track. Thats equivalent to tryin to run a 1/4 mile with around a extra 500 pounds or so in your car. Im not sayin im expectin to run no 15.47 in my gt BUT im sure as hell i can crack at least 16's in it. Thanks for the info purp didnt know about all the drag info helped alot. ''Fantasy Racing'' really? 99prix your makin it seem like im sayin i raced lambos an vettes or somethin an won.
4 people in the car could do it. Or like you said theres a good chance it just had SS badges. He could've had giant subs, or bodies in the trunk. Never know.
Figure 4 people could very easily be in the 700-800 lb range. That would be like towing a 500 lb sportbike on a 300lb open trailer. I'm not taking anyone's side on this situation, actually, I'm bascially neutral, but, so far I'm the only one that's posted time slip proof, anyone else race their non supercharged 3.8 G.P. at the track?
Here we go.... More an more immaturity is on the rise once again... You would think when ppl get older they become more mature seems to have a reverse effect to most on here. An if u want a sports car y not add bigger wheels? They give off a sportier look then the stock 16''s that most have anyways.
Most reason people dont put anything over an 18's on performance cars Is weight and stress to the brakes suspension and drive train
I understand alot of newer sports cars come with them but thats cause its what sells not what performes best
I have seen plenty of cars with 20's that look good but id never try and race with 20's if i really wanted the best times
and then you see a lexus sc300 with 26's and i dont even want to think about how bad that is for the car
Yea thats why i had said give off a sportier look i know when most cars go to the drag they put on smaller wheels i was jus sayin how everyone keeps trashin my wheels ( plus im ridin on alloy not chrome or anything). An yet they have these fast gps but dnt have the look to fit the speed of a sports car since sports cars are meant to go fast. Thats y alot of car companys add bigger wheels with the performance to make it give a sportier look for a sports car. Anybody wouldnt happen to know how much the stock enkeis are on these gps would they?? Theyre alloy by the way.
Can someone ban this douchebag already? Tired of seeing his dumbass posts.
No, they give off the look of "white trash", especially on a car like a Grand Prix GT. It's a Grand Prix, not a bloody Escalade. You remind me of Jamie Kennedy in that one wigger movie...
Blang blang.
That would require moderators actually reading this site. There's barely any evidence of that already.
U too both sound stupid as hell if anything ur the ones that should be banned from here. Im not the one talkin sh1t about other ppls crs an such its lames like u who just jump on the next guys bandwagon to look ''COOL'' who should be banned. If u dnt like my post just dnt comment on me or my ride or my post an move '' ON TO THE NEXT 1'' lol. An the other guy sounds stupid as hell too! 20''s escalade jamie kennedy?? Man u dnt no sh1t about wheels at all so im not gonna even comment on that post.
