actualy u prob would. co worker of mine ran a s/c cobalt at the racetrack a couple weeks ago with a beatup 93 sentra ser with a fartcan and homemade intake and ran side by side with him at the 1/4.

remember this post guys/gals?So I was heading to school this morning when some as* clown in a subaru legacy AWD came flying up beside me on the highway (i was doing 67).
He stayed next to me for around 5 seconds so i looked over and he pointed ahead and started honking. I shook me head in supprise that he was serious, third hond came and his rice can farted and I was gone.
Love it when people think your debaged car is a GT when really its a 13 sec GTP haha..
Pulled from about 70 to around 110 in a couple seconds with him a country mile behind. I then slowed back down to 67 and set cruise.
He stayed behind me the rest of the way, dumb ricer!
lets try to stay on it and not bash members. granted a new thread should have been made rather than hijacking this one.

Damn. I missed out on the Subaru-calling-out. The STI is always willing to take contendors, especially Cobalts. But now you have ~18PSI to deal with instead of the stock 14.7PSI.

I dont know if any of you seen this but im pretty sure that this is his cobalt getting its ass handed to it by a lightly modded gtp!

I raced a subaru legacy GT also. Im pretty sure all the GT models are turbo, correct? I know this guy had the 2.5 turbo regardless. We were pretty even 10-60mph. I pulled about a hood length.
My mods: tuned pcm, ZZP downpipe and a FWI

yeah, its turbo. same as a WRX or STi. if he had a tune then he would have ran away from you. the difference from 14 pounds of boost to 18 pounds is a lot. it was stock.

Trust me I know. I was running 22psi of boost on the 61trim turbo with my built 89 supra.
