A week or so back the wife was on her way home from work, she got lined up with two douche's in a mazda 3, needless to say she came home in tears.

tuesday evening I got a the same events unfolding near the same spot, wife told me those were the smacks. I got very good R/T and know how and when to roll when the other light turns red( 6 second delay sometimes 5 from red to green)

I spool up the converter and start to creep, light goes green I am holding in first hitting 2nd with a good 4 car lead, held to 80 and backed off, no fly by he got behind me and faded as I coasted down to limit.

Coming from nothing but minimum 400 NA HP RWD my entire life I do have to say that even the NA 3.8 has some potential. I am going to be in the market next spring for another vehicle, I am going to start with the GT2 and GXP's 07+.

I now can understand the passion behind this car

She was in it she claimed, I asked her what was so hard about that she blamed her phone which she knows she isnt supposed to be using while driving.

They smoked her ass, she talks big thats about it.

No we dont have a GT, she was crying cause she knew I was upset that she lost to two smacks in a junk mazda3 because she was on her cell. I met my wife in a race, the girl can move she just doesnt choose her targets wisely anymore.

We have a 07 BASE sedan, base I mean stripped way down, no abs,no ac,no sunroof,no power seats,no extras at all, not saying its FASTER then most bases out there but has a slight weight advantage.

IDK last night we were out and she took a v6 new stang with ease.

GT's arent slouches with the right setup, but they arent anything special either. knowing how to drive helps a lot on the street though. most kids out in their cars cant drive for dick.

Wait wait wait... you got upset with your wife because she lost a race... on the street... in your 07 base(literally) model GP...

What? What do you expect her to beat, granny in her 1992 ford explorer? I bet you murder some mean 1989 Corollas in that beast.

(I'd rather have that Mazda3. Those things are nice.)

Why? I'd rather have my GTP than a Mazda 3(unless it was a Mazdaspeed) but if you're comparing one to a completely base SE then you're nuts. I don't understand what you're trying to get at here.

He was saying he rather have the Mazda 3 then the base model Grand Prix...

Think you got a little to excited about attempting to be a dick and failed.

I didnt get mad with her, did you just assume too?

Just because its a base on the outside and I scream BASE doesnt mean thats what the contents hold.

I found tons of methods to help the puny weak 3.8 along without voiding my warranty. Cant say much yet without dyno sheets to back it up.

Yep i straight murda dem corollas dawg.

Its ok, Ill move up to camry's in my GTP next year so I can be cool like you.
