    was on the highway and here comes a gp gt just like mine...dont know if it was an '06 but it was still badged. silver w/dubs and hid lights...tried to pass....but me dont think so...punched the throttle and downshift into 3rd and bye bye....supercharged whining next to the cement barracade...later!!

    just curious...anybody know how much horsepower i gained w/CAI and msd ignition wires? I do notice the increase after the CAI..stock it runs 260hp.

    Not a whole lot apparently. Probably added 2-4hp~. Maybe.

    10 Horsepower from a intake? It must have a built in leaf blower.

    10 is about wut i figure it out to be. oh well. now it runs 270 hp. that 10hp closer to 300!

    I was joking...I'd be shocked if your car made 210 to the wheels. Seriously. They put out about 190-200 to the wheels stock.

    An intake adds around 5-8hp. Sorry but the wires did absolutely nothing, thats one of those mods that doesn't really make a difference unless you're making a crazy amount of power IMO. The stock ignition system on these cars is actually pretty good.

    Do you have any dynos of an intake adding 5-8hp that's not from a manufacture? Only way it'd do something like that is if the intake was extremely clogged from the get go.

    I think 5 is accurate. Hey, at least I'm not one of those ebay guys claiming their intakes add 20 hp and 5 mpg

    it also depends on mod level and type of car, in his case, id be surprised to see 1-2whp from an intake.
