Yeah, there worthless, I don't understand why people think their trucks are fast.

    (Some are a exception)

But for the most part, why bother?

2000+ Dodge RAM with pipes and headers tried me off a light.. Barley in boost, had him like I was racing a geo.

I laughed, he passed by at 80 or so looking the other way...

Eh I dunno. I had a rc sb hemi ram with headers, exhaust, tuned pcm, cai, tb spacer, comp cams BIG cam, and 4.11 gears. My best run at kcir was a 14.3. I know its not real fast but stock it ran a 15.1 so I made an improvement. Not too bad for a big heavy truck

    Nope, no way.

Either driver fail, or it wasn't a Ram..

You sure it wasn't a "Dakota 4 cyl".. Even if, they are 120hp stock.

Or your car is SERIOUSLY modded.

I don't think it was a waste. Would u say that about a lightning? I like cars and trucks like that. I would love to have a malibu wagon to drop a big block in. I thought it was cool. Nobody ever saw it comin when I blew past them

All of those mods for a .8 second improvement? Yeah it looks like a pretty big waste of time/money.

I had an SRT 10 RAM and a 1500 HD both next to eachother, the RAM in the middle of us three this morning. It was pretty funny, I was ONLY about 4 cars ahead by the time either one got up to speed. He tried so hard to punch it from the stop light. I almost felt bad for him.

I really don't understand why anyone in a pickup thinks they're fast.
People buy big trucks to compensate for their tiny penis.

Not the same thing at all, a lighting is a Cobra Mustang with a F150 body.

I don't really see the diff? Besides I bet my gtp ran 15.0 stock or close to and now I runnin 14.1. That's only .9 second difference right? That's a big deal. Anybody will tell u makin ur car OR truck go that much faster is a big deal. And who cares if its a cobra with a truck body. Its the same thing. Why do u mod ur s/c V6 grandma car? Because its fun! Who cares how fast u go just so long as u enjoy urself while doing it. And I really didn't spend that much money on my hemi ram. I did ALL the work myself includin the cam so I saved there. I loved that truck. And people with trucks CAN be fast regardless of what u say. Any vehicle can really. This debate could go on and on forever. I don't really care who thinks its a waste a money. I enjoyed myself and had fun with that truck while I had it. Period.

Ok, were all happy you enjoyed yourself in your truck. No one really cares.

GTP Should be 14.8-14.9 Stock with a good run, dropping it down to 14.1 Is not hard, very few things will do that.

It's a big deal when you make a high 14 sec low 14's, high 13's.. It's stupid to make a High 15 Sec Truck Go low 15's high 14's with the amount of money needed to do so.

A Lighting does Mid 13's stock, so there is a HUGE difference in that, and p.o.s trucks that aren't made to go fast.

Anything can be FAST with $$$ The difference is, some go faster with less invested.

    For bordem reasons:

Ball Park Pricing to make your RAM .9 Faster:

    headers - $300
    exhaust -$600
    tuned pcm $100
    cai -$150
    tb spacer $50
    comp cams BIG cam -$400
    4.11 gears $500

    $2,100

Plus the time you put in it.

yeah.......but look at the cost just to buy the vehicle in the first place. The lightning is way more then a stock 2wd ram, to be fair.... so it really isnt comparing the same thing that way either. Buy a 98 Z28 for five grand with no mods and be faster than either one....

It seems like you're the one crying because we stepped on your precious HEMI garbage.

No ones getting "Mad" I'm laughing at it, I think it's funny how people like yourself, get defensive and so upset that you can't type correctly if your life depended on it.. Take a deep breath, count to 10, slow down and try re-typing.. No need to bash the keys in anger.

I'm not the one who brought the Lightning into this.. I don't care about trucks unless they are diesel, lifted, 4x4 with big tires.
