Long story, If you want to read, i beat a 5.0 mustang and a new GTO

Well, i'm out driving and this foxbody mustang comes up next to me, revving it, clearly wanting to race. I'm game, so i get going at about 35 and i honk. Well, on the third honk i pull ahead of him about half a car length, and we pretty much stay that same distance untill about 80mph. His car was a very close match with mine, but once again, torque and automatic transmitions FTW. Then (this is the good part) We both pull up to an 04 GTO with headers, cutout, and a large cam. ( I know cuz he's freinds with a buddy of mine that has a GTO) Well, both me and the mustang rev it at him, and then the light turns green, and i'm off. The guy in the GTO is notorious for not knowing how to shift, so i beat the mustang by about half a car length, and the GTO by a full car length (I stopped at about 75, i felt i had proven my point). The mustang turns off and me and the GTO meat up again, and aparently he shifted decently, as he was a car and a half ahead of me by 45mph.
The guy with the GTO has already bought a magnuson supercharger for his car, just doesn't have it installed. IMO he should just save his money and get an automatic transmition.
Either way, i went home feeling very good about myself.

Hell yeah you beat a foxbody =)
My buddy with a LS1 Camaro raced a foxbody the other night, apparently it had a cobra motor and a whipple. The kid was paralyzed and the controls were all done by hand. He whooped the sh*t out of it. I love seeing mustangs loose =)

There are some people out there that shouldn't race a stick shift. A built auto is a better choice for many.

Me personally? Give me a Built Auto with a Manual Valve Body any day of the week and i'll have some fun! I wish a 4t65-hd could be built like this....
